Lindéngruppen is a family business founded by Ulf G. Lindén.
In 1974 Ulf G. Lindén (1937-2009) became Managing Director of AB Wilh. Becker. When its majority owner, Beijerinvest, merged with Volvo in 1981 he was appointed Executive Vice President of Volvo. In parallel with his work at Volvo he built an industrial group that included a majority position in Höganäs AB. When Volvo wanted to sell its stake in Wilh. Becker shortly after the merger, Ulf acquired it. He became the sole owner of Beckers in 1985 and left his executive role at Volvo in 1986 to focus on his own business interests. Lindéngruppen was born.
