As a long-term partner of Global Child Forum, Lindéngruppen has contributed to the new “Corporate Playbook: Embedding Children’s Rights in ESRS Reporting” and participated together with colleagues from Beckers, Colart and Höganäs in the Global Child Forum 2024.
Global Child Forum, on behalf of Their Majesties, the King and Queen of Sweden, hosted a global forum on children’s rights and business at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, on 23 October.
The forum was attended by leading representatives from UNICEF, NGOs and business and showcased how companies can put children’s rights at the heart of their sustainability strategy. Representatives from both Lindéngruppen and our Group companies attended the forum.
The forum highlighted the importance of embedding children's rights in corporate sustainability strategies and how to bring a child rights perspective to business – delivering value to stakeholders, and building a better future for the youth of tomorrow.

The playbook, which was launched at the forum, is intended to help companies reporting against the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). It provides practical advice and guidance on how they can incorporate children’s well-being and rights into their strategy and performance, both clearly and credibly.
“Operating and growing sustainably includes doing good from a children's perspective,” says Jenny Johansson, CCSO at Lindéngruppen. “We were happy to contribute to the new playbook – particularly as the Global Child Forum’s Children’s Rights and Business Workbook have been crucial in helping us understand how we impact children.”
Children’s rights are increasingly threatened by climate change, rising child labour, conflict, mental health challenges from digital exposure, and physical health issues related to nutrition and environmental impacts. At Lindéngruppen, we believe that every business must address their impact on children’s rights.
