With an aggregated turnover of SEK 21.3 billion, sales in 116 countries, and 5,098 co-workers in 26 countries, we create significant value around the world. In terms of our impact on people and the environment we managed to decrease our CO2 emissions by 23 per cent and total waste by 4 per cent compared to previous year. We also improved health and safety with our LTI rate decreasing to 5.4.
- Improved operating profits – Lindéngruppen’s operating profit increased by 18 per cent to SEK 479 million.
- True Value Creation increased to SEK 455 million, which is 9 per cent (SEK 38 million) higher than in 2022.
- Validation and approval of Höganäs greenhouse gas emission-targets by SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). Total CO2 emissions (scope 1 and 2) has decreased by 46 per cent since 2018. Carbon intensity index decreased to 72 per cent in 2023, compared to 89 per cent previous year.
- The entire coil coatings portfolio was assessed through Beckers Sustainability Index (BSI), with 41 per cent of the products achieving the highest sustainability performance. BSI is a third-party validated transparent product classification tool for mapping and visualising the sustainability of a coating system.
- Colart achieved B Corp™ certification, signalling the company’s commitment to be a leading ambassador for sustainable transition in the arts material industry.
- Recycling and upcycling textile waste in Alex Begg – Great progress in avoiding waste with zero textile waste to landfill or incineration. Production waste is sold or re-spun and converted into yarn.
