Inner Development Goals

The Inner Development Goals (IDG) is a a non-profit, open-source initiative focused on developing science-based capabilities, qualities and skills needed to achieve the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The IDG initiative was first introduced in April 2020 and Lindéngruppen has been a supporting partner to the IDG initiative since 2021.

Rooted in interdisciplinary research, the IDG Framework consists of 5 dimensions – Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaborating and Acting – with 23 skills of human inner growth and development.

The annual IDG Summit brings corporate, educational, civil society and governmental leaders around the world into dialogue on what it means to put the Inner Development Goals into action to achieve the SDGs. The first summit took place in Stockholm 2022 and the summits has included speakers such as Otto Scharmer, Amy Edmondson, Robert Kegan, Johan Rockström, Caroline Casey and many more.
